High idle concern w/ 1998 2.0
I have a 1998 neon with a 2.0, it idles very high until i clamp the hose running from the center of the valve cover to the intake manifold, it seems to idle ok then. Anyone know what the problem could be???

It could be a number of things. But it seems as that hose has a vacuum leak. High idle usually means a vacuum leak somewhere. I bet it is that hose.
