hi all,
it seems that my 2001 Neon LX kinda misses i noticed at high speeds like on the highways and has sometimes poor/rough Idling. do you think if i go to my local Mr.Lube and get the Fuel System Cleaning that will take care of the problem. they reccomend it to be done ever 25,000kms and at $79.99 a visit wow...

wow they charge you 80 dollars to pour fuel system cleaner in your car?????? That sux... clean your fuel and injectors w/ fuel system cleaner and do your throttle body as well w/ intake/tb cleaner. I mean thats all you really gotta do.

What they do you could do for under $10 by buying a bottle of injector cleaner at your local parts store. There are companies that will properly clean and balance your injectors, but expect to pay $25US per injector at a minimum, and a week or two turnaround. Frankly, I don't use the injector cleaner stuff or any other type of fuel additive (or oil additive for that matter), and I'm still running the original injectors after 236,000 miles now.
