hey guys, i bought a 02 neon a few weeks ago. it just has the 14 inch steelies on it. so i just bought i set of srt rims. a buddy has some 205/50/17 he will sell me for cheap and they are in good shape. just wondering if they will fit on my car with out rubbing. wanted to buy these just to get me through this year then next year buy a new set of rubber. so if anyone has put 205/50/17 on srt rims on a base neon let me know if you had any problems or not.

lol i am not going to buy tires to find out if they fit or not. what if they dont then i am out that money and i could have put it towards new tires.

 

If you have the wheels and your buddy has the tires, borrow one of the tires and mount it to see if it fits. Or am I missing something here?

 

I recently got a set of srt wheels for my 03 sxt. They hit the
Strut perch so I spaced them slightly (just the rear) and they fit great now. I recommend spacing and also maybe a little hammering on the perch for some
Xtra comfort. But yes. They will fit. Also, my
Car is lowered 2.5". Rubs on some bumps in the fender well plastics but nothing that can't be cut out. Whoever says they won't fit with 205/50/17
