I have a Red 2001 neon, and for some time have noticed that both bumpers are VERY faded. They look very "oxidized" and it looks terrible. I have also noticed that almost every other red neon that I see (2nd gen.) has the same bumper fading problem.

Has anyone else seen this or had the problem fixed?

Probally just a bad batch of paint. Repaint the car there is really nothing else you can do to fix it.
