1998 Dodge Neon Electical Problem HELP
hi i recently bought a 1998 dodge neon 2.0 SOHC 16 valve automatic. when i bought it, the battery light was one, but ran perfectly fine. i drove it for 2 or 3 days and went over to my buddies house to see if he could figure out what the battery light was on for..not doing anything at all, my buddy gets in to start it, it starts slow, but starts ( never did that until then, always started right up for me, which was odd) so he didnt know why it was on so then i left to go to the gas station and when i was driving, my lights started to get dim, gauges went all crazy, and then it died, acted like the battery was dead..got my buddy there, he jumped it and started right up and took it back to my buddys house. The car came with a brand new battery and alternator!!! so it at his house, we get a perfectly good battery, from a running car, and stick it in the neon, still dont start. it makes a click and you hear the starter wanting to go, so starter should be good and relay should be good. but then, yesterday, when we had the jumper cables on a new battery , still wouldnt start, acts like it has too little juice to start...there is power going to the starter. but now, when we turn the key, nothing happens, no lights in the dash or anything, but when we hook the battery CHARGER up to the battery and turn the key, we get gauge lights when we turn the key, and a click from the starter, but thats it...we thought it was a grounding issue, but we took wire from the negative terminal and grounded it to the motor and frame, but still didnt work....i have no i dea what to do at this point...someone please help me!!!
Check the number 10 (15a) fuse not sure if its the same, but its happening to my 2000 dodge neon, for the motor. That blew and I wouldn't get anything when i turned the key but then I checked my fuses and walla, but now I have the problem of a fuse that keeps blowing when I try to drive and im not sure why.
