Greetings all,

Well stopped out to get some parts for the wife's 2000 Dodge Neon when i noticed a check engine light on, had the guys at advance scan it, and came up with a Transmission Control Solenoid, so i added it to the parts list. however iu can not seem to find anything on line showing a location of this thing so i can change it out. Anyone know where it is located?

Do you have the three speed or 4 speed trans?.... I presume its a three speed ( the 31TH).....The only solenoid it has is the Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid, you will see the connector next to the transmission fill tube....the Solenoid itself is bolted to the valve body and requires valve body removal.....

 

4 speed is 2002 and up, so you are correct.
