Default Wiring aftermarket fog lights into 05 Neon

Hey all! I have a 2005 Neon SE (technically in Canada it's called a SX 2.0 but same difference!). It came with factory fog lights. I hit a fox recently, which took one of the lights out (literally, it just hangs there!) and decided to get an aftermarket set. The trendgear ones were the only ones I found on ebay that offer OEM mounting vs universal mounting, which is something I really wanted. I did some searching on here and it seems like theres lots of posts about the trendgear lights, But nothing about what I am looking for, and for my car.

The fog lights came with a full harness to install it from scratch, and a harness connection to attach to the OEM connectors. However, the new lights are 55w, which is obviously way to much for the wires and fuse, which blew. So I'm gonna just wire it in myself. The new harness has connections for the lights at one end, then a relay and in-line fuse with a couple of wires (orange and black, I'm assuming they are 12v [battery?] and ground) and then a switch at the end with two more wires (red and black, these are lighter [20awg])

What I plan to do is tap into the factory fog light switch (you pull on the end of the headlight/wiper stick) for the lights, since the new switch included with the harness seems to have a power hookup (ignition or battery, not sure yet) with a light (20awg) wire, and then the relay has a heaver (16awg) power connection as well. I imagine this means that the switch is low power, and then the relay is where the real power gets sent out, so the factory switch should be able to handle it. Can anyone verify this conclusion for me? I'm not exactly an expert when it comes to vehicle wiring, I've done a little here and there but nothing to do with relays and switches!!

Your input would be appreciated
