Engine Compatible?
It's not going to be a direct swap. Getting the engine (and/or tranny) is one thing, controlling it is another. You'll need the PCM for the SRT-4, which means you'll need the SKIM unit and instrument cluster that all have to match for the car to start. You could go with a standalone unit I suppose. The stock 2" exhaust piping isn't going to cut it either.
For the amount of time and money you'd spend doing the swap, why not consider a turbo kit that will put you in the same HP range? I mean, if you've happened across a wrecked SRT-4 that you can get super cheap, I'd understand... The stock internals on the 2.0L can't take much more than 230 ft-lbs torque, but that is plenty to put even the 2nd gens in the 12's. Just a thought.
Best of luck!
