Blow Off Valves are used in supercharger and turbo applications for releasing pressure on the turbine when changing gears. BOV's produce that all too familiar "pshhh" as your changing gears. As for the original question, no they dont burn gas, yes they cost a bit of money but they are worth it.<edited><editID>Shogunn</editID><editDate>37909.7405439815</editDate></edited>
