Rpms 3 Speed 99 ?

What rpms should I be running on the highway with a 99 neon with the 3 speed auto looking at one and ive been wondering ?

For the best MPG? Guessing, I'd say roughly around 1800-2200 RPM. Depends on the car and gearing. The lowest RPM without ******* the engine is the optimal RPM.
