Ok I have a question, my girlfriends check engine light came on, in her 2000 neon. I did the on-off-on-off-on thing and the light simply turned off, and didn't give me a code. But on the odometer, it gave me "p 1683" then "p 0703" then done and the miles. Does anyone know what this means?

 

Call your nearest dealership and ask their service department what the codes are.[sm=smiley2.gif]

 

Goto Neons.org and they have a full list of engine codes for the first Gen neon, so I'm sure they have the 2nd gen also.
