Simple to find, or??????
Hi,
I have a 95 Neon Sport. I've had it for almost 2 years, 186K miles and almost everything is new under the hood (computer, radiator, water pump, timing, exhaust manifold, fuel pump, fuel filter, etc...) I am having a bit of an issue with electrical now, I think... As I am driving, the stereo (after market Kenwood, been in almost a year) and dash guages will randomly shut off, then within 5 seconds or less will turn back on. The seatbelt light will also turn on and stay on for several minutes when this happens. In my 10 minute drive to work it will happen 8-10 times... I have not attemted to drive the car at night since this started, so I am not sure if the head lights are effected as well, and don't really want to find out in the dark!! Also... I got in the car this afternoon and it started, then shut off... I restarted it and it started fine and hasn't had any type of issue since (about an hour of driving). The stereo was reset in demo mode, like the battery was disconnected... I am pretty sure it's a loose wire somewhere, but I really have no idea where to start looking!!! I am afraid the issue will get worse! Anyone have any ideas??
