i was on this forum back in october. I had the neon that kept over heating ect. changed the thermostat and it worked awesome then next day freeze plug rusted out.. That was 2 weeks ago maybe.. My husband fixed car and it ran beautifully since then . Hot air, didnt heat up ... THEN.. this morning, Indiana weather is SUCK and freezing... I warmed car up to take daughter to school... drove 10 miles and all of a sudden DING DING DING... i looked down and car was over-heating AGAIN...

2 weeks ago we flushed system, we changed thermo-stat, changed upper top freeze plug the one under the hose of where the thermo stat is and we are back to square one... I am at a loss.

Could it be the thermo stat again? What could this issue be.. i have not even plated this car yet..owned it 21 days today .

I will say this ..when talking to mechanics about this car they told me that Dodge only put 1% of this specific engine in the neons... cuz I have the dreaded F in my vin number and not C... WTH is that all about... its a Dodge R/T 2.0 magnum... why the hell would dodge only put this specific engine in 1% of the cars, was they aware they was ****?
