Folks, I just acquired a 2005 Neon. It is a 2.0 non-turbo car that came from the factory with the 2.4-labelled turbo hood and big rear spoiler. I know the person who bought the car new and it has always been like this, no changes or repaired crash damage. Do any of you know of other Neons like this? Do you think Dodge just ran out of regular hoods/deck lids and had to substitute? I might just think that Dodge had offered a dress-up package for the regular Neon that included a scoop hood and rear spoiler, but the hood says "2.4 Turbo" on it.
