i have a 05 dodge neon and when we went up a hill it dont have no gears to move it and when we went out today to leave it dont have no reverse or drive or 3 or 1 dose anyone knows what the problem is

Auto trans right? If so I would check ATF fluid level and how clean is the fluid. Then I would check the lines to the cooler and other visual checks under the car. Torque converter is always suspected first since it transfers power from the motor to the trans. It will feel like the clutch is going out on a stick shift. Engine reeves but little or no movement to the wheels.
