oil cap stripped (help)
I have a 2000 dodge neon and I finished a oil change and when I put my oil cap back on I checked my oil level and went to add more oil and the cap just turns and turns what can i do to get the cap off?
Sounds like you broke it. Try to pry the top part off so you can get to the threaded part and be sure not to drop any pieces into the oil fill tube. Auto parts stores shoudl carry replacement caps.
