Loose and sticky PVC hose
Hello All!
I have a question/
My engine started making a whiny noise in idle. When I accelerate, the noise goes away until the second I let off the gas. I checked under the hood and noticed that the exterior of the PVC hose was wet and sticky. As I was wiping the hose off it easily came loose off the PVC valve. I placed it back on and it stayed on during my drive to work, but it does not fit snuggly on the valve and I am concern why it was that loose to begin with.
Do you think the wrong valve was put on during last repair? Or is the hose suppose to be kinda loose?
