I have a 2003 2.0 sohc Dodge neon. I run Royal purple all plugs wires and coil are new. Take very good care of it. Injectors cleaned, cold air intake.
Next is the help I need, I've been reading forum after forum on this infamous knock that neons have. I removed oil pan looked deep inside and checked my bearing s and rods, in side the block. Filtered my oil and no metal shavings.... Bearings are like new nothing not a damn thing wrong on the inside. So what could it be? Have even compression all cylinders I've ordered a new head gasket and bolts for future projects.... Plan on planing the head .030" and porting polly, over sized rings... Yada yada. So does any one know were this obscene noise is coming from?
