Default 95 FUEL TANK

HI EVERYBODY.NEWBIE HERE JUST BOUGHT A 95 NEON.2.0 SOHC MOTOR.THE CAR HAS BEEN SITTING FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS.WE PUT 5 GAL. OF NEW GAS IN IT.THE TANK WAS SHOWING RIGHT AT THE EMPTY MARK WHEN WE PUT IN THE NEW GAS.PUT THE JUMPERS TO IT AND IT CRANKS OVER FINE BUT WON'T START.WE TOOK OFF THE RUBBER HOSE GOING TO THE THROTTLE BODY AND PUT A VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF GAS IN IT AND IT FIRED RIGHT UP.TRIED CRANKING IT AGAIN,AND IT WON'T START.IF YOU GIVE IT A PRIME AS I STATED BEFORE,IT FIRES UP EVERY TIME.COULD IT BE THR FUEL FILTER OR THE PUMP.ALSO,DOES THIS CAR HAVE THE PLASTIC OR METAL GAS TANK IN IT.THANK YOU

Metal (aluminum) gas tank. The fuel filter is under a panel just forward of the rear passenger tire. Pressure at the fuel rail should be 49 psi, assuming everything else is good.

Best of luck!

...Edited fuel pressure...

Id just change the plugs if its been sitting very long and moisture has been accumulated it could just be rusty...And run fuel system cleaner through it. Not that it couldnt be the filter...but after sitting that long your goin to have to replace em anyways.

Fuel pump relay (and fuse) are in the PDC, the box under the hood right behind the battery. All the relays are the same, so you can swap out with a known good one (I use the horn) if needed.
