neon wont start unless jumped

neon wont start unless jumped

it only will start when you jumps start it,and then runs only for a short time

With the limited info provided, I'm going to suggest installing a new battery.

dodge neon

well ita car someone is selling and they said thy put in a new alternator,but said it always had to be jump started each time and runs only for a short time, im thinking the battery,and maybe a plugged fuel filter

Get the battery tested. Check fuel pressure.
