alright just to prove i havnt been under the hood of my neon to much, is the air filter in the lil box thing that u see in the back after taking off the black cover thing that says 2.0 sohc or w/e??

Yah ... Not trying' to be harsh, but if you're a little confused over the "lil box thing" then you probably better not attempt the 2.4/2.7 idea. I'd strongly recommend you look at Howell's 2.2 crate engine instead which is a straight 2.0 swap. . . . The five speed swaps not bad with a used PCM and wiring from the junkyard.

I could probably do the 2.4 or 2.7 swap but what i mean is that the car wasnt mine to begin with it was my sisters so i didnt look to much at it. Then when it was mine winter had already hit so it sat all winter and i havent gotten it out much to look/drive it. And i know my way around the engine bay i just wasnt exactly sure.

Not yet, most of them are with the Roadrunner in storage. It's all Craftsman and in a Craftsman roll away set up, but I have drawer liners in each and every drawer, to keep from scratching the paint as well as keeping the tools from sliding around. My wrenches are in the Craftsman foam strips that hold them in place and looking great and organized. I also have trays that are labeled with places for just about every socket made. I need to take a few pics of it.[sm=smiley4.gif][sm=smiley2.gif]
