Will a 95-99 DOHC Intake Manifold Fit a SOHC 00? If so an automatic?

 

Yes, but you ahve to change the starter to a 1st gen starter as well, but there is no performance gain by making the switch.

 

Thanks I was just thinking maybe the aluminum manifold would be easier to port, or would the plastic one on mine be easier?

 

The 2nd gen plastic manifold is a better design than either of the 1st gen SOHC's overall. Yes, you can port out the aluminum one, but only so far because it doesn't split like the DOHC does. You'd be much better off looking around for a used Magnum intake manifold and working on it (including setting up a window switch to activate the butterflies).

The DOHC will not bolt on to any of the SOHC heads. Well, not without some work...
