Default Electrical problems HELLLLP!!!

I have a few electrical problems...all seemed to have started in the last month...

1. Windshield wipers won't cut off when I cut them off...they come on and go off by themselves..

2. Interior lights cut off and on suddenly while driving... the "ding" bell also comes on when this happens, and the "door" light on the dash comes on also. almost like the interior light is flickering and the bell is dinging and the "door" light is flickering...

Anybody else had this problem? I ended up taking my interior lights out this morning. I had to replace the tire rods and the transmission in the last six months... I believe I'm beginng to hate this car.

if you have a 2nd gen, sounds like you need to take off you steering column covers and do some investigating maybe replace some levers, if it's a 1st gen, I have NO idea. Your situation is odd beacuse I don't think those two circuits have any direct coralation in the 1st generation neon at all. Maybe you could pick up a service manual and trace the wring diagram to figure it out.

does it just do it over bumps or all the time? if it's just over bumps you have a short in the wire, if not then trace your wires or pay someone to trace them
