What Spark Plugs?

You must have done one of a couple things.....got the wrong spark plug, the gap on them was wrong, you put the wrong spark plug cover on the wrong spark plug......because NGK V-Powers work great in the neon.

Well everything was good today, had awesome response, and started up quick. Also would let me rev it up high. So I think they just needed breakin in.

Breaking in??? You break-in a new motor, not a spark plug.

Actually thats where your wrong... When you first put plugs in they sometimes might not be right, and usually after running on them, and then starting again everything is fine. Sorry done this a thousand times..

Ok, what is there to break in on a plug? I could see maybe 30 seconds of break-in to burn any little bit of crap thats on the electrode off, but other than that no way. There is nothing more to a plug than 2 pieces of metal that are separated by an air gap, hence the spark. I have changed plugs in thousands of cars and never once told a customer that their plugs will need a break in period, nor have I ever seen a car than needed the plugs broken in. Sorry but your wrong.

ENOUGH WITH THE QUOTES HOLY CRAP!
FIRST OFF.... Casper is right! Secondly, if you know soooo much about spark plugs and that they need to be "broken in" why did you post a thread asking people what type of plugs you needed. Third, why would you even thing about buying plugs online, when you can stop by a local schucks or whatever. And fourth.... Notice how under your name is says student driver... and under caspers it says Moderator! Show some respect!
"haha ok bye"
Don't care if it says moderator, doesn't scare me. Oh well!!!! It doesn't matter if mine says that and his something more, thats just because him posting so much on here. Sorry I have a life outside of my comp.
he's not a moderator simply because he has a high post count. He's moderator because A) he probably knows more than the average user B) he's demonstrated an ability to side-step an argument and resolve issues like a grown up and C) has the ability to ban your *** if he feels like it.
Read your owners manual when it comes to replacing your spark plugs. It'll tell you what the original motor comes with and will most likely be what you need to use, unless you've had some engine work done, in which case you'd already know what you need. You claim to have done this "a thousand times" but you haven't a clue what type of spark plugs you neon needs. Either that or you lack the ability to read up on what the neon requires. In any case, I highly doubt the claims you've been making, why not just admit that you were wrong and stop insulting people when they try to correct you? We're here to help you if you ask for it, but if you continue acting the way you do, we're not going to want to help you.
