i have heard that flowmaster makes an excellant exhaust system for the 2.0 liter 16valve sohc motor. I unfortunately have the dohc. Will it fit on my exhaust manifold or am i to keep searching for a exhaust to fit. Any help as to if this exhaust would fit or where i can purchase an exhaust for the dohc.

 

The exhaust on the Neon's usually only refer to the muffler and tailpipe/tip, as the mid-pipe is optimally sized from the factory. Flowmaster has an exhaust kit for the DOHC Neon's as well. In fact, your quite fortunate to have the DOHC instead of the SOHC. There isn't much out there or much that you can do with the SOHC, but there's tons of stuff out there for the DOHC. My '99 Neon R/T had the 2.0L DOHC and I had on it a Mopar Performance chrome header, Mopar Performance exhaust, Mopar Performance CAI, Mopar Performance PCM, Mopar Performance motor mounts with Rex inserts and bobble strut, MSD Super Conductor plug wires and coil and an APC strut tower brace. And there were tons of other things I was going to do to it, but the SRT-4 was calling me and I answered it's call.[sm=smiley4.gif][sm=smiley2.gif] Here are a few links for you to click on for parts and upgrades for your Neon:
