Default turn signal flashes rapidly

I have a 1997 neon and all of a sudden the right turn signal started flashing rapidly. The front right signal flashes rapidly but my rear right light does not flash at all, although the brake and tail light do work properly, just not the turn signal. Any ideas what to do? The left turn signal works properly on both the front and back of the car.

it's just a burned out bulb. The car is sending two signals but both of those signals are going to the same bulb (the front one). Replace the bulb and it'll fix your problem. I had this same problem on my '97.

Nine times out of ten, a bad bulb.....carry a few spares in your trunk as well as fuses.
