not running away, i've heard the exhaust on SRT-4's and other Neons alike. It is too raspy and sounds like a rice rocket. I'd rather have a slower car that people like the sound of then a fast one that people laugh at cuz it sounds like shiat

FYI: It doesn't sound like that when it's on an SRT-4, it's deep, bassy and rumbly. On a regular Neon it's gonna be high and buzzy, because it's just like having a straight open pipe.

Another option for anyone who doesn’t want to spend a lot of money is a new offering from Mopar. It’s the R/T muffler and tips with an adapter to bolt right up to gen 2 Neons. I just got one for my SXT and it looks and sounds good. I got it on eBay for $180 shipping and all. The car already had a 2.25” pipe that narrowed after the back wheels to go into a stock muffler. Just a thought.
