whats up everyone. I am learning in the Neon world. I have a 95 neon SOHC and I want to swap my slow automatic 3 speed with a 5 speed manual tranny. What transmission will fit my car and if any one has any suggestions or comments that would help me out, please include. What else would I need to upgrade (sensors, ECU....)

They make a complete transmisson swap kit, the only thing you need to get is the transmission itself
just go to the local junkyard and tell them you need a Manual transmission out of a 95-99 neon
2000 and up I think have different motor mounts, but I do know that the engines are swapable with alittle work,

 

One of my buddies tells me that I may need to switch out the computer as well. So will it work without the computer? What all does the kit include and where can I get it at?
