are the KYB stuts the same as the KYB GR2 or is there even a "KYB" strut that dont have the GR 2 tag on it?

Your struts are not KONI (1st Gen ACR's had KONI's) but rather the better designed double adjustable inverted Dynamic Suspensions struts that also have stiffer spring rates over the SE/SXT but the same as the R/T (150 front/120 rear).
