I'm 16 so im new but i know tha basics because my brother had a 96 neon but i just got my 2003 neon se and i was wonderin you could put a 96 neon intake off an SOHC and put it on my 2003 SOHC if not where could i get an ICEMAN, AEM, or INJEN for under $150....if anyone could answer i would appriciate it.

 

the intake manifolds are different and the 2003 has a mass airflow sensor

next question, does the short ram intake sound just as good as a cold air?

 

The sound will actually be the same if not louder. The metal tube intakes produce the most sound. A short ram will be alot better than stock, but not as good as CAI as far as performance.
