ok i was just woundering about what engines can fit into the 1st gen neons, i know a few that i cant get a hold of. if any one would just like to list the cars, years, and basically any engine, bigger than the dohc, that will fit in my neon with only a few bolt on changes. feed back is much apreciated.

 

well the easiest to do, if your car is SOCH
is to find a Magnum head (the head off the 2001 R/T and ACR) it flows alot more air than a stock ported head, and it has a camshaft that is pretty close to a crane 12

I blew my engine not to long ago and i am putting an engine from a 2001 R/T in, pretty basic, all you have to do is swap everything, sensors, motor mounts blah blah ect ect
