were you planning on putting in the instrument cluster with a tach or just installing an aftermarket tach?

i had an aftermarket in my 01, but honestly dont remember the install
youll tap into a wire off the coil... but dang if i can remember which one i believe it was blue wire... i even had a tach in my 01, so aggravating.

clusters are a direct swap, all the wireing is there. i did it in my 96 and the only thing was the odometer was about 25k higher on the cluster i put in but the old one was dead anyway so for all i know it might be right lol

NEONRED : where you able to put in a new cluster with an integrated rpm gauge on your neon?
I have an 02 neon and was looking into putting in a cluster with an integrated rpm gauge is it a perfect fit are all wires already there or do adjustments need to be made?
