RT Or no??????
Hey everyone im new to this forum, But also new to the Dodge scene. I like to screw with cars and rice them out. Although i have only experience with VW and honda. Im looking at a couple of neons one is a 02 neon RT and the other is just a normal 02. same color and both are manual. Should i go RT or stick to the normal 2.0 neon? What is the diffrence between the two? Air intake? any impute would help thanks. Oh and any idea for a good exhaust for neon. I dont want the thing to sound like a dirtbike but i dont want it to be too deep either. Thanks yall

id go r/t...they have more pep to them then a normal neon...they are geared a litle different and usually have all the power options.....the r/ts are alot sportier..im not sure about the newer neons though....
Go with the non-R/T. If you're ricing it out, you don't need the extra 18HP or the parts that make the difference. The regular 2.0L SOHC is easy enough to make sound "badass". Leave the R/T for someone that wants more power.
Best of luck!

The differences are...
-Better flowing head
-Magnum Intake Manifold with secondary runners
-Magnum Cam is a much more aggressive cam (comparable to a Crane 12)
-Magnum Valve springs are comparable to the Crane Titanium springs
-16" (195-50-R16) wheels
-Front/Rear sway bars
-Dual Exhaust
-Magnum header (nearly identical to the aftermarket borla)
-140mph speedo
-3.94 final drive gear ratio
-Slightly different PCM progamming...
-18 more crank HP (varies between 132-136whp stock)
I think thats about it...
