I'm looking for Tuned / upgraded neons in SO-Cal for sound recording purposes on June the 26th in Carson. If you have an upgraded Neon (new exhaust etc.), shoot me off an email at cdeenen@ea.com. This is for a game called "need for speed underground 2".

 

Would an SRT-4 with an upgraded exhaust work? If so you might want to also post this in the SRT-4 forum.

 

Hi ! I'm assuming the SRT-4 is the turbo'd version (sorry, don't know much about Neons). If so, they won't work as the turbo sound often overpowers the engine sound of the car. Yes the SRT-4 is the 2.4 with a turbo.

Damn I only live about 20 minutes from carson, but don't have an aftermarket exhaust yet, but pay for it and I would gladly let you record it.

 

I knew of a few SRT-4's in Cal, but not any N/A Neon's off hand. The turbo in a stock SRT-4 is almost completely silent, but modded it's quite loud and noticable. The SRT-4's don't sound like a regular Neon either, so they wouldn't work at all. Too bad I sold my '99 Neon R/T, it was well modified and non-turbo, but I'm a few thousand miles away anyway.[sm=smiley13.gif]

I can't wait for that game to come out, I loved the first one. I just hope that the new one will include the SRT-4.[sm=smiley20.gif]
