Default Interior Lights...

Anyone know how to change the lights out that light up heating/cooling controls (sorry, I don't know what the exact name is). Well I only ask because I am painting some of my interior and I had to take off that piece of trim so when i was driving around at night it was hella bright, basically lit my whole inside of the car up. I would like to put in some colored bulbs, like maybe blue??? Anyone know how to do switch them out? I haven't looked into them too much so it might be really easy.[sm=tongue.gif]

I remember seeing the bulbs when I rplaced my stereo. Pull the controls off. they just pull off, pull the 2 air vent off. They are just snapped into place. Then there is 2 screws, 1 behind each of them vent. then pull the silver face off then yuo should be able to see the bulbs for the controls.

Yeah, I have access to them, but I don't know if they just snap in or if they are soldered in or what. I guess I'll have to take a closer look at it tomorrow. But they are hella bright with that silver face off, I would not suggest driving around like that, I practically had to squint the whole time. My silver face is drying right now because I painted it, so thats why I was driving around like that.

....And, does anyone know what bulb number they are offhand? If not its cool, I can look at it tomorrow sometime. I figured if I want to replace them it would be easy to do now since I have things torn apart.
