Default please help, how to remove back 6x9

im replacing the 6x9 but dont know how to remove the stocks? is it through the back dash and if so how do you remove the back dash, or is it through the trunk. please help im currently doing this and waiting for replies, thanx

you have to go through the back deck.....remove the bottom of the back seat....just pull it up.....then remove the two bolts that hold down the back of the seat and the seat belts.....then grab the back of the seat and lift up to disengage the hooks....then you can get to the rear deck cover alot easier....should just be able to pull out of there...unless you have the child seat anchors...then im not sure....but once the cover is off then you can easily get to the 4 screws

thanks however i already did it the hard way and just pulled up on the back dash and unscrewd with a short screwdriver. it was a pain!

a super easy way to remove the 6X9's is to do it from the trunk, I took a smal pair of locking vice grips locked on and twisted from the bottom enough to get the screw nice and loose, then from there headed back up top and used my hand, and the vice's won't strip or hurt the screw from the pressure.

i actually used that technik to loosen the screws then continued at the top
