lol I know that bad what im saying is that when you try to loosen the bolt it just cranks the engine backwards..........

use pliers and hold onto it or wedge a large screwdriver in there to hold it

Have you done that before or are you just saying that might work.. I just got a new engine for my 2000 neon and I have already taken off the timing belt, manifolds, valve cover, and all the head bolts and I was woundering how you take of the cam gear because thats the only thing hold be back from taking the head off.

i had to do it yesterday to start dis assembling a motor of mine.....works great.....unless you have an impact wrench...that works better
