Hey i have a 2002 Chrysler Neon Le "Rage" and i just bought a Hi Flow Catalytic Converter for it. The Inlet is 2.25' and the outlet is 2.5' now i was wondering can i buy any type of muffler as long as the inlet is also 2.5'? The only reason that im buyin the parts seperately is because it is alot cheaper then buying an exhaust system. Once i have my cat con and muffler wut else do i need to complete the system?

 

Pretty much that's it. Find one that will hook up and simply replace the cat and the muffler with high flow versions.

 

Pick the right muffler! You wouldn't want your car to sound like a Honda, would you? So that means, NO CHERRY BOMB MUFFLERS! [:@]
