Default Tire size??

I have a 2000 Neon and need new tires. I now have 185/60/R15's. My main concern right now is cost. What is the largest tire I could use on that rim.I would like to use a 195/60/R15. I heard Falken makes a good tire at a good price. Has anyone used these before.

All I know is dont get TOYO's cuz they suck like nothing else, have a pair on a van rated at 75,000 miles and we got about 20,000 off of them, had a pair on a 1 ton chevy got less than 15,000 miles out of them, same expereances on a ford expedition.

Thats odd - I have a set of Toyo Proxies on the race car - use them on open track days - they handle very nicely and seem to have good life after half a dozen practice races! Although I do run Kumho Victoracer now!

I had Toyos on my '97 DOHC Neon and they were awesome. Great traction, even in rain. They lasted me right up until I sold my car, then we parted ways...

Well these arn't high performance tires I was talking about but the ones on our 8000lb gmc have cupped like crap, the ones on our van tho had great performance in the rain but just didnt last as long as they should have.

My neon has 3 diff kinds of tires on it, one toyo 2 coopers I think and something else lol. The front 2 are litteraly bald, makes good burnout tires but the rain/gravel gets a little fun

I can relate - the Kumho Victoracer is half slick and half tread - for me to run race tires -they have to be DOT approved tires.

Being the tires are somewhat slick - especially after 10 or 20 laps - they are fun to run on!
