Hey everyone, quick (and simple) question. Can anyone tell me what parts are interchangable between the SOHC and DOHC 2.0 Like will the intake manifold fit, or will the exhaust headers off of a DOHC fit a SOHC. I like the aluminum manifold on the DOHC rather than my plastic POS manifold. Thanks

 

I do not believe that either the intake or the exhuast are interchangeable. Everytime I look for one it either fits dohc, or sohc.

 

If you like the aluminum intake on the DOHC, then get the Indy intake manifold for your SOHC motor. It flows far better than any intake manifold and they give big gains at the wheels, over 20 WHP on the DOHC motor.

 

If you like the DOHC - why don't you swap out your SOHC with a DOHC?

I just picked up a 96 neon with a Bad Tranny off Ebay for $250.00 - I needed a spare engine for my race car - tired of missing races because of engine problems!
