plastic thing
there is a piece of plastic that came loose and is hanging down by my front passenger tire... wat is it and do i really need it or can i take it off anyone know

its a splash shield to protect the belts......no it isnt needed and you can take it off, but you might have to replace the balts a little earlier......alot of neons dont even have them anymore because its just another thing to take off if you need to get under there.....i always take them off on any neons i have had

thnk god its drivin me nuts! thnx no one could tell me wat it is wat about the thick plastic beam under the bumper mines torn up can i take it off or should i replace it?

yea... go ahead and take it off. I was installing some motor mounts, and by the process of taking it off it broke (wow... what a usefull splash shield eh?). No worries about it not being there.
