I have an absolutely stock automatic 95 neon. I really want to turbo this baby out. Where can i get an engine for it and what kind should i get, and how much would it cost me to change the auto tranny to manual? If anyone could help that would be awesome!

 

i would reccomend putting this post in the 1st gen forum.....you will find more help there

but anyways...you could turbo the motor you have or consider dropping in an srt4 motor....but that will take some customizing and alot of money

swapping to a manual tranny isnt alot of work and you might be able to get all the parts from a junkyard for under $500.00

 

SOHC or DOHC? If you turbo, I was under the impression you'd have to switch to tougher parts to avoid shortening the life of said parts...
