For a Dodge Neon 1995, I have read where one guy had the paint chip off
His, my car is still in good shape as far as to the Paint, but dont want to loose
it, if I put it through a car wash, I would like help on that as well ? thank you

I wouldn't recommend you taking it to a carwash. Back in the day when I was 15 yrs old, I used to work at a carwash and I saw some ugly stuff go inside the tunnel.

On the neon faq it mentions paint problems being the reason for an early recall of the Neons.

Neons (especially 95's) suffered from poor paint finish quality, where the paint became brittle and peeled off in sheets, partly because of teething problems with a new environmentally-friendly "dry painting" process.

Avoid the automatic drive thru car washes, if you want to clean your car go to one of the do it yourself car washes that won't knock off your antenna and scratch the **** out of your car with automatic brushes and what not. And if you want to use the wand with the brush on it at the do it yourself car wash, spray the brush head clean with the sprayer before use to avoid scratching the crap out of your car, most people use that last on their heavily soiled wheels and tires right before hanging it back up. This way it's only water and soap hitting your car instead of soiled brushes and strips of cloth.

Yep, that's one of the main things those type of pressure washers are built for.
