I have a question about carbon fiber hoods/body kits. I have a 2004 Dodge Neon R/T black.....the carbon fiber hoods only come in the standard color so wouldn't it look almost like you had cheap body parts or something on your car because the colour wouldn't match? can they be painted to match the car?

 

yes they can be painted mto match your car.

 

i thought most got carbon fiber hoods because of thats how they looked....

am i wrong?

 

There's a weight reduction factor to consider as well.

 

Thats exactly why I am getting one for my 94 altima. Something to do with about 1800 lbs sitting on the front wheels [sm=smiley3.gif] and about 1100 on the rear. Really ****ty weight distribution. Of course thats stock right now you have to add about 100lbs on the rear for the subs and amp sitting in the trunk.

 

Sometimes it's actually better that you paint the hood. That way you don't look like Fast and the Furious racer.
