I am thinking about putting a buddy 2 style body kit on my 2004 Neon R/T and its made of fiberglass. Now a couple of my friends say fiberglass sucks cause it will shatter easy. Maybe one of you guys can help me on this one

Get a Urethane kit...more expensive, but a much better quality.

 

Yeah the fibreglass ones are pretty poor quality.

I'm glad you don't have the SRT, because nothing beats the stock front bumper on that. Beautiful.

i have a fiberglass body kit and to be honest i dont have bad comments about them. i do have to say this though, they can take somewhat of a beating, but will break and it is hard to repair it to make it look like new again. i put a kit on and not even 3 days later i hit a ground hog and it cracked my front bumper. other than that i love the kit. easy to put on also.

 

I will also have a fiberglass xenon kit on my sxt by spring and they hold up pretty well. What a awesome caliber srt4 in your avator dodge caliber srt4.

 

a kid a know has a xenon fiberglass bodykit on his car...and the other day he backed into somebody with it...lol..and it held up fine...and it was a cold winter day in wisconsin
