I don't hate Mitsubishi, I think they've got some great cars. But I don't think it's wise of DCx to turn a sucessful car such as the Neon over to a company that may not be around much longer.

From what I've seen, That picture is not close to the new platform.
If anyone has seen the "Avenger" concept at the Auto Show two years ago its very similar to that. Think Vibe sized, with a hint of magnum thrown in.

BTW--the Hyundai motor should be pretty hot without a turbo. Don't get me wrong. I will never buy a Hyundai powered car. . . I can't speak French, and I can't drive Hyundai. . . there's just a few things I'm not physically capable of.
But. . . .non-loyalists might be fairly impressed with that new engine design. Wait 'til it's out before you judge if it can handle/even needs a turbo--engineers are giving it a thumbs up so far.
