My rear main engine seal is leaking on my 1996 Neon. Do I have to pull the engine and transmission through the bottom of the engine compartment. The manual talks about a cradle that the engine sets on. Are they referring to something to sit the engine on?? Where do I obtain one of those??.....Jc

it is easiest to remove the tranny through the bottom of the car.....just make sure its jacked up high enough
as for an engine cradle, you can just use a jack stand to hold it in place....
i use a ratchet strap.....strap one end to the exhaust manifold and the other across the engine to the radiator support......just to hold it still.....then use a piece of a 2x4 ontop of a jack stand and place it under the oil pan
