I just got 4 Accel Fuel injectors with 19 lbs of pressure on them from Howell Automotive. What do you all think of those? I have an AEM intake, Pacesetter header and cat exhaust sys. and some other mods. How many lbs of pressure do the stock fuel injectors have. I think it is lbs of pressure. The injectors say 19 lbs.

Did your stock injectors go bad? And if not what was the reason for replacing them?

What lb. are the injectors you just got from Howell?

Yeah, I know. I felt his original post was a bit vague as it had confused me. I just wanted to make sure from him that he meant 19.

Since, that has been cleared up what did you pary for them?

Oh, and to answer your question, Accel is pretty good.

 

Sorry for not making it clear. I was just trying to UPGRADE my car and increase the fuel flow. I am trying to get more power out of my car. I just heard if your stock fuel injectors were fine don't mess with them. I couldn't send them back so i am deciding to put them on anyway. I just don't want to mess up the car with this mod because i heard it could mess it up.

 

It's not going to mess it up. Because you are replacing 19lb. injectors with 19lb. injectors. If you were installing 24lb. injectors whent he car originally had 19lb. ones without changing the fuel system then I'd say you were going to mess things up. But since youa ren't, you are fine.
