what type of tire size do u recomend on a 2000 neon .I wanted to go 17 on the front and 18 on the back.

Typically, you want to stay the same wheel size. If you differ from this, then you need to get the car re-aligned to accomodate your changes.

different sizes on the front and back? not only would that look rediculous on a FWD car, it would be a tremendous Pain in the *** for you. you wouldnt be able to rotate the tires, if you ever got a flat your donut would be worthless ebcause the car would sit crooked. i would STRONGLY suggest agaisnt doing that. now, that said, i have had great luck with yokohamas. good wear, great dry grip, good wet grip, and not outrageously priced.

I had Toyos on my last Neon and they were awesome. great grip in any weather condition and they wore very slowly, even with the way I drive!
