Default Pacesetter Header

I had someone install my Pacesetter Header and exhaust sys. on my 2000 Dodge Neon ES. Now it is time to re-tighten my header but the person who I had install it threw away the directions. I was just wondering, how many lbs of pressure do I use on the torque arm to re-tighten my header. I was told you tighten the header with the same pressure on the torque arm as the stock header. Howell auto told me to look on the service manual to find the correct pressure but I don't even have that.

Also, I didn't get any directions with my 19 lb fuel injectors. What do I do? I just plug them in on the fuel rail. Is there any trick that I need to know?

Thanks

Header to head 23 newton meters or 200 inch pounds.

And as for the fuel injectors you need to relieve the pressure from the fuel rail. Theres a small plastic cap in the center of the fuel rail. Remove the cap. And use Schrader valve tool to relieve the pressure. If you don't have one you can use a small screw driver and a rag to cathc the fuel. Unplug the wiring harness form the injectors, pull the injectors out of the intake manifold. Use a little motor oil on the O-Rings when installing the new injectors.

Hey on these mopar performance parts where in the hell do I go to find them, I've been on howell and modern sites and stilllllll can not find the mopar performance parts other than the PCM/ECU.

Another question was can I put a 98DOHC pcm on my 98 SOHC? I know that SCC did that to there 99 neon and got some nice gains under the curve and said that with the added fuel it will work great with more extensive engine mods. So I guess what I want to know is if I put the DOHC pcm on my SOHC would I get any wiring issues or check engine lights?

One more thing I did a highflow muffler (strait cannon style) and I was wondering if I should do DOHC pcm/ Iceman intake or Iceman intake and pacesetter headder first? (crane 12 or 14 comes this winter)

I don't know about your first few questions but I would get a header and intake first. I have the Pacesetter header and AEM CAI and some more mods but I would go with that. It's really up to you. Personally I would try to help my fuel and air flow before I do all that other stuff. You would probably feel more power out of the computer though.

From what I understand a pcm from a dohc will not work with a sohc. Both howell and modern performance both have performance pcm for the neon.

The Mopar Performance parts are at your local Dodge dealership. Just go to the parts department, and ask to see the 2004 performance catalog. Or you can buy one for 5-10 bucks.

As far as the mods go, you don't need to do fuel upgrades yet. Start with the basic upgrades. Also, if your going to add a cam, don't buy a 12 or 14 cam unless you are planning to run turbo or nitrous. You can easily run a crane 16 and still be a daily driver. With a 16 cam your stock 19 lbs. injectors are the best to use. Any larger and you will be running too rich.

I bought a 96 dohc pcm for my 96 sohc and it will work fine. As long as you get the right year it should work. SCC did it and they said it worked fine. Just get Mopar performance.

The Chikara header is the only one that bolts directly up to the head and cat for the DOHC.
